An engineer who thinks like a mapmaker

I started in cartography and the visual arts, learning how to turn messy, multi-layered information into a single image that someone can read at a glance. That training in hierarchy, colour, and precision is what I bring to engineering work: cleaner technical reports, clearer site designs, and spatial analysis that decision-makers actually understand.

My Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering added the technical depth: hydrology, water and wastewater treatment, environmental compliance, and impact assessment. I'm now looking to bring both together in a GIS, technical drafting, or environmental consulting role where good data deserves good communication.
